The concept of the educational process atICan School

ICan School offers a comprehensive educational programme and places special emphasis on the cognitive, social, emotional, and cultural development of each pupil. ICan School adheres to an individual approach and personal development of each pupil.ICan School follows the National Curriculum of England (NCoE) in English. It prepares each pupil for admission to international and Greek universities, provides knowledge about the structure of the world, and develops effective English language communication skills.The programme defines the approach to the educational process and its standards, transfers international experience to children from 5 to 16 years old, and opens up broad opportunities for pupils after graduation.The programme's approaches combine the fundamental principles of classical pedagogy and the latest research in education, expressed in:Students study Greek as a second foreign language in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. The training is aimed at forming knowledge about the language, history, and culture of Cyprus. It provides basic communication skills in Greek and prepares for the exam for the official certification of proficiency in Greek as a foreign language.Education in Russian maintains the native language, forms knowledge about significant achievements of history and culture, and provides an opportunity to take the international exam to determine the level of proficiency in Russian TORFL.

Extracurriculum (afternoon courses) - a program for the second half of the day. It develops cognitive, creative, social, and physical abilities that will help find the path to happiness, develop independence, achieve influence, and be in demand in modern society.

Extra engages with the real world with its problems and demands for the development and interaction of the student and society. Students perform independent work and develop logical thinking, study Russian language and culture, as well as Greek language and the history of Cyprus.

Within Extra, we work on socially significant projects, care about the physical and psychological health of students, and enhance a variety of soft skills.
